have been invited to participate in Pop!Tech, a technological
conference to represent Colombia and the projects we have been working
on. The invitation covers most of the expenses, except airfare. Since
the work we've been doing is basically volunteered, we
don't have the funds to pay for the plane ticket and the local
organizations we requested funds from were not able to help us. This is
why we are broadcasting this call for help. We don't want to let pass this valuable oportunity and we hope to send Medea on this trip, representing the work of all of us who are striving to improve our country's image online. |

Pop!Tech2007.
Each ticket is worth $10 000 COP or $10 USD for those who live
outside Colombia. For each ticket you purchase, you'll have the
oportunity to win in the draw for a blog (design + hosting + domain for a year),
besides, you'll get a 40x40 pixel real estate logo in our donation
bulletin board which will also be published on all the blogs of those
who support this effort.

Another way of helping us with the Medeatón

is by purchasing one of the shirts which will be designed by some of the members of our growing community.
Soon you'll be able to find here the designs which will be available for purchase. The shirts will be manufactured as they are order, more details will be available when the designs come out. |
